Challenges abound.
Wars are spreading and nuclear threats receive
increasing attention. Natural disasters in the form
of earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis increase
in frequency and intensity. We hear of terrible
illnesses from contaminated produce e. Crime,
corporate corruption, and political divide are on the
rise.
In spite of these challenges, I see the current times
as a wonderful season of opportunity.
We can allow ourselves to focus negative energy
on the problems of the world, or we can seek ways
in which we can move ourselves and others forward.
We choose our thoughts. We need not cower in the
face of the world’s calamities.
How can I see opportunity in these trouble times?
1. The U.S. and world economies have never
been stronger.
2. People have much more discretionary funds.
3. Volunteer opportunities abound in which we
can make a difference.
4. Positive messages and actions have wider
appeal.
5. Those who possess firm, unwavering values
will rise to, and stay at the top.
6. Those who focus their gazes above the fiery
serpents of the times and live with hope will
thrive abundantly.
Times are tough. But you can avoid the undertow
by lifting your focus. Focus on hope and optimism and
you will carry the day.
